We are still angry after watching Chelsea attempt to look like professionals and play a game of football last night.

They put on a truly tragic attempt of a performance at Old Trafford and were rightly booed off the pitch by the traveling fans at full time and to be honest, those fans deserve their money back.

It was a truly terrible performance by Chelsea’s players and Chelsea’s manager, they are all at fault.

When fans witness a litter game like this, the last thing they want to hear is any excuses. They want to hear home truths. Unfortunately, they did not get that from their manager last night, and that will not sit well at all. These kind of responses is the reason that fans ended up turning on Graham Potter.

One of the reasons Pochettino believes Chelsea lost is because Manchester United had an extra day’s rest than us because we played Sunday. Well Pochettino, that wont cut it I am afraid, especially since they also play in Europe and we do not, meaning we play much less than them this season.

The Evening Standard had the quotes:

Pochettino said: “It was difficult at the start, they showed massive energy. Maybe we were affected because we played Sunday with one less [player] for 60 minutes with similar players.

“Maybe it was difficult for us to start the game in the way that we wanted. Maybe that was one of the reasons why we didn’t start the game well.

“This type of game is difficult to assess because of how [important] one day more was for Manchester [United] to recover and for us to play 60 minutes with one player less. With this situation, we missed a little bit of energy from the beginning.

“My feeling was they were better than us and deserved to win.”
