Tottenham will play two matches in just three days as they deal with a troublesome fixture pile-up.

Hosting Manchester City in the Premier League on October 29, Spurs will then have to travel to West Ham in the Carabao cup on October 31.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the north London club actually play four games in nine days and manager Mauricio Pochettino is not impressed.

Also travelling to Wolves in the top-flight, they then host PSV in the Champions League in a huge fixture having lost their opening two group games.

The Tottenham coach said the schedule was “completely unfair for a team who wants to win some titles.”

As pointed out by Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard, it seems Tottenham are merely a victim of their own circumstance and had to shuffle games around due to delays with their new stadium.

Next up for Spurs following Wednesday’s 4-2 defeat by Barcelona is Cardiff at home before two weeks with no action during the international break.
