PSG – 2 (Danilo 69, Mbappe 87)

Gianluigi Donnarumma, 5

Colin Dagba, 4 – Had zero idea where Fulgini was for the first goal and is still getting up to speed after a long absence.

Presnel Kimpembe, 6 – Individually commanding, used the ball well and made one crucial sliding first half intervention.

Thilo Kehrer, 4

Abdou Diallo, 4

Danilo Pereira, 5 – Headed the equaliser but offered little else.

Ander Herrera, 6 – Outshone Verratti, doing what Verratti does best in the first half especially. His progressive passing was incisive both from deeper areas and around the box but faded after half time.

Marco Verratti, 4 – His passing radar was a little intermittent and it was he who dawdled in possession before the Angers opener.

Rafinha, 4

Kylian Mbappé, 7 – Offered little goal threat for the first hour but his change of pace and feet around the area were superb and it was his delicate cross that found Danilo for the equaliser before he won the game late on from the penalty spot.

Mauro Icardi, 3 – Typically Icardi at PSG, often looked as if he’d been given a completely different game plan to the rest of the team. His movement is often at odds with the move construction of the others.

Others: Hakimi 5, Bernat 4, Wijnaldum 5, Draxler 5, Ebimbe 5.

ANGERS – 1 (Fulgini 36)

Paul Bernardoni, 5 – Did well to force Mbappe wide in the first half, saved at the near post from a deflected first half cross and did well to turn another Mbappe cross round the post but could have done more with the equaliser, Danilo beating him to the ball.

Ismaël Traoré, 5

Vincent Manceau, 5

Romain Thomas, 5

Thomas Mangani, 5

Batista Mendy, 5

Jimmy Cabot, 6 – Looks like he’s played wing-back his entire career. His tackling was sharp and won the ball back and carried the counter the lead to the opener.

Pierrick Capelle, 5

Sofiane Boufal, 7 – Played with real intensity and was routinely a handful for Paris, a mazy first half dribble and shot from a corner was a highlight before he provided a precise whipped, bending cross for Fugini’s opener.

Angelo Fulgini, 5 – Nipped in at the back post to tap home for 1-0 but looked a little tired at times and struggled to find a consistent understanding with Cho and Boufal.

Mohamed-Ali Cho, 5

Others: Brahimi 5, Ounahi 5, Bahoken 5.
