Inter sailed past Feyenoord with ease in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16, with the 2-1 final score only partially reflecting the Nerazzurri’s dominance

Marcus Thuram paved the way for his side’s victory with a stunning early goal just eight minutes in. Jakub Moder’s penalty equalizer was merely a brief interruption in a one-sided contest before Hakan Çalhanoğlu restored Inter’s three-goal aggregate lead with the second penalty of the night.

Sommer 6.5 – Guessed the right way on the penalty but had no chance of stopping Jakub Moder’s precise strike.

Pavard 6.5 –Worked well with his teammate to close every gap in defense on the rare occasions Feyenoord tried to break through.

Acerbi 6.5 – Had little to do but led the defense with composure and authority, ensuring a stable backline throughout.(84′ Cocchi n/a)

Bisseck 7 –Inter’s standout defender on the night, effortlessly shutting down danger and making the backline a fortress. Showed confidence pushing forward as well.

Dumfries 6.5 – Another assured display, using his physicality to dominate his flank and discourage opponents from even testing him.

Frattesi 6 – Lively and eager to make an impact, but his erratic play often felt disconnected from the team’s rhythm. (84′ Berenbruch n/a)

Calhanoglu 6.5 – Gave away a penalty with a naive foul but redeemed himself by converting from the spot. (61′ Asllani 6.5)

Mkhitaryan 7 – He rarely gets a choice wrong, making his side’s play fluid. Hard to dispossess, his carries and through passes manage to cut Feyenoord wide open on several occasions.

Carlos Augusto 6.5 – Solid defensively and provided good support going forward, once again proving to be a reliable option on the left. (61′ Bastoni 6.5)

Taremi 5.5 – Too slow and clumsy in the last third, the Iran international constantly takes an extra touch and fails to capitalise on a couple of promising opportunities.

Thuram 7.5 – While it’s hard to say if his ankle injury is fully behind him, the Frenchman looked back to his best—scoring a screamer to set the tone for a comfortable night and tormenting Feyenoord’s defense until his exit. (71′ Arnautovic 6)

Coach: Inzaghi 7 – While anything other than Inter’s qualification would have been a shock, his heavily rotated lineup showed full focus, confidence, and a strong desire to get the job done early— in fact, the result was never in doubt, allowing the team to conserve energy ahead of upcoming challenges.
