Article image:PLAYER RATINGS | Hertha Berlin 2-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich beat Hertha Berlin 3-2 at the Olympiastadion with a win that sees Bayern go top again. Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Bayern in the 12th minute. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting would double Bayern’s lead in the 37th minute before scoring again only a minute later. Just before half-time, Dodi Lukebakio grabbed a goal back for Hertha before a VAR check also awarded them a penalty which was converted by Davie Selke.

The second half proved to be rather uneventful with Bayern having a goal ruled out for offside. Bayern are now two points ahead of Union Berlin who play Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. Hertha finds themselves 14th and two points above the relegation play off.
