Winners announced.

Chris Wood was the big winner at Saturday’s Leeds United 2017 Player of the Year Awards, held in the Gowing Law Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road, capping off a fine individual season for the New Zealand striker.

Wood, who has scored 29 goals for the Whites so far this season, picked up the Players Player of the Year and the Player of the Year at the ceremony.

Ronaldo Vieira who has burst on to the scene at Elland Road this year, picked up the Young Player of the Year Award, the 18 year-old has appeared 37 times for the Whites and played an instrumental role in midfield this season.

Souleymane Doukara’s sensational volley against Nottingham Forest won the Goal of the Season, he beat off competition from Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Vieira to win the accolade.

Callum Nicell was presented with the Academy Player of the Year, whilst Mark Broadley was awarded the Bobby Collins Award for his outstanding contribution to Leeds United.
