Transfer News: Aston Villa interested in Chelsea trio

According to transfer news from Birmingham Live, Aston Villa are planning a triple raid on Chelsea in the summer. Dean Smith’s side are looking to bring in the trio of Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tino Livramento.

Livramento was named as Chelsea’s academy player of the year for last season. He is one of our most talented prospects and has already made a name for himself at the club. A wing-back, the youngster can play further ahead or lower. The teenager could be looking at a move away and Villa have shown interest.

The youngster is not the only Chelsea player Villa are after. Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have also been linked with the club. Tammy has found opportunities hard to come by under Thomas Tuchel and mostly remains on the bench.

Loftus-Cheek had a placid loan spell at Fulham and has returned to the club. The big midfielder has struggled to break into the side since making his debut. Villa are looking to bring in all three players after completing the signing of Emi Buendia.

While it is understandable that Chelsea might let go of Abraham and Loftus-Cheek, they should reconsider the offer for Livramento. The youngster is highly rated and should at least be given a look-in. Chelsea will have to be careful so as to not sell the wrong players.
