Belgium’s latest Euro 2024 qualifier against Austria received the worst possible start after a horrific own goal from Orol Mangala.
The Nottingham Forest midfielder had attempted to clear Michael Gregoritsch’s low volley at a corner in the 21st minute.

But Mangala’s swinging leg managed to wrongfoot international teammate Thibaut Courtois as he stopped to make the save.
Domenico Tedesco’s side went on to salvage a point in Saturday’s Brussels encounter but lost their 15-game winning run in European qualification.
