There goes another weekend of the 2020/21 Premier League season, and wasnât it fun?
Hereâs our weekly awards âŠ
Fair play to Newcastle, who managed to take all three points from a drab game away at Crystal Palace on Friday night.
It was a 2-0 victory that was very nearly a 0-0 draw, despite the Magpies racking up a surprising number of efforts on goal.
Sign of champions? Well, not quite, but a good win all the same.
We agree with Liverpool boss JĂŒrgen Klopp that this seasonâs hectic scheduling isnât safeguarding playersâ safety when it comes to injuries.
We also think BT Sportâs Des Kelly had a point when he said Klopp should be complaining to his own club and the Premier League rather than taking out all his frustration on the broadcasters.
It made for a fascinating bit of TV âŠ
More televised arguments, please.
Benjamin Mendy finally scored his first goal for Manchester City in his 60th appearance for the club on Saturday.
And that goal has made things rather awkward for one fellow Frenchman across town âŠ
Name a better duo than Burnley and 5-0 defeats at the Etihad.
Weâll wait.
Those who say that Expected Goals (xG) is a load of old nonsense will have felt vindicated on Saturday evening when the action-packed encounter at Goodison Park finished 1-0 to Leeds.
Turns out stats DO lie (sometimes).
One club about whom the stats are definitely not lying is Sheffield United, who still have just one point this season after their defeat at West Brom on Saturday night.
The Blades have still scored just four times in 2020/21 and itâs difficult to see where their goals are going to come from.
But at least their defence is looking reasonably solid.
When Manchester United were 2-0 down to Southampton at half-time on Sunday, many were joking that they should change out of their kit like they did on that infamous day at The Dell back in 1996.
But they didnât, and the Red Devils instead came roaring back to win in a vintage second half turnaround Sir Alex Ferguson would have been proud of.
And afterwards, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even compared match-winner Edinson Cavani to one of Unitedâs 90s icons.
Nostalgia. It ainât what it used to be.
We can only assume Frank Lampard and JosĂ© Mourinho both binge-watched The Queenâs Gambit before Chelsea hosted Tottenham in what should have been a blockbuster clash on Sunday.
And we must admit that while watching their boring game of chess play out at Stamford Bridge, we kept wishing we were watching Netflix instead too.
Never mind.
This one goes to Arsenalâs Rob Holding for his description of Wolves winger Adama TraorĂ©.
We love it when professional players talk like hungover Sunday League hacks.
