Chelsea-Liverpool and Manchester United-Leeds been postponed this weekend but other fixtures will be played, the Premier League have announced.
That due to safety and organisational concerns around policing and the availability of officers across the country.
However, the Premier League did confirm that the rest of the fixtures will go ahead as planned, with the exception of Brighton-Crystal Palace which had already been called off.
“Following extensive consultation with clubs, police, local Safety Advisory Groups and other relevant authorities, there was no other option but to postpone the three fixtures,” read a brief statement.
“New dates for the postponed matches will be announced in due course.”
Arsenal’s Europa League fixture with PSV at home on Thursday was also postponed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II amid a period of national mourning.
However, Chelsea’s midweek Champions League clash with Salzburg will go ahead as planned, as will Liverpool’s meeting with Ajax at Anfield.
Manchester United’s Europa League trip to Sheriff is also unaffected.
