Pisilli to be named Best Young Player of Serie A

The press conference to present the sixth edition of the Gran Galà del Calcio, scheduled for May 5 at the Sheraton Parco de’ Medici in Rome, took place today in the Senate.

An event, promoted by ADICOSP (Italian Association of Sports Directors and Collaborators) in which Roma’s own Niccolò Pisilli will also be awarded as the Best Young Player in Serie A.

Pisilli has so far collected 2 goals and 1 assist in his first year as a regular member of Roma’s first team.

The 21-year-old midfielder is the only Giallorossi player to have won an award and, in addition to Adriano Galliani who will receive a lifetime achievement award), Tony D’Amico – Atalanta’s executive – will be celebrated as the best sporting director in the Italian top flight.
