Pisilli discusses Italy debut: “Making my debut in Rome is even more special.” | OneFootball

Thursday night proved an unforgettable evening for Niccolo Pisilli.

The young Roma midfielder, after scoring his first goal in Serie A and putting in more than positive performances with the Giallorossi, attracted the attention of Luciano Spalletti who called him up for the national team.

Furthermore, against Belgium, the 20-year-old made his senior debut with the Azzurri jersey on the same day as Francesco Totti.

After the draw with Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico, Pisilli made some statements to the gathered members of the media.

“Making my debut with the national team is a dream come true,” said the Roma starlet.

“When you start playing football as a child, the first thing you dream of is being able to play with the national team,” he added.

“Doing it here in Rome was even more special and I am certainly happy about this because there were people I knew in the stands.”
