“We’re focused on what we have to do and that’s qualifying for the Champions League.

“This morning, the president came to talk to us about the future project but we can only think about the present.

“We see the president almost every day. He’s always been close to the team and he explained the project to us and gave us great confidence.

“The most important thing that he told us is that we have to continue with our work.”

On squad’s reaction

“They have received it as you would expect them to. It is just a project at the moment and they must rest assured that football will go on.

“Assessments have been made but it isn’t for me to talk about it. We’re happy because we have a clever president who can better explain what it is and he’s the right man to do that.”

“Cristiano Ronaldo, Gigi Buffon and Paulo Dybala will be available. Dybala needs to play again to get his conditioning back.

“Alvaro Morata was a bit tired after an intense game and Arthur wasn’t able to be at his best recently but now he’s calm and eager to play again.

“Tomorrow could be a chance for him to start. Dejan Kulusevski could also play from the start.

“He’s fine and has done well in recent games. We’ll evaluate everyone’s situation tomorrow and I will decide on the system based on how they’ve recovered.”
