Pioli thanks ‘special group’ in coach speech: “What we have done is something incredible” – video

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli thanked his team with an emotional message on the bus home from the game against Sassuolo.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was given the microphone to praise some of his team-mates, including Rafael Leao, Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud who all had a big hand in the title win. After speaking to them he passed it over to the head coach, who sent a message to the team.

“I want to tell you that I could not have become a winning coach without a special group like ours. I sincerely thank you for making me grow as a person and as a coach. What we have done is something incredible,” he said.
