Andrea Pinamonti is looking increasingly likely to remain with Genoa according to a report in today’s print edition of Genoese newspaper Il Secolo XIX.

The 20-year-old striker has drawn some links to other clubs in the past few days and weeks with Hellas Verona, SPAL, Fiorentina, Lecce, Parma and Torino all understood to have enquired about his availability.

However, due to the way he arrived from Inter, a move elsewhere very difficult. Pinamonti joined the Grifone on a season long loan with an obligation to buy and that obligation will come in to force from the first of next month.

Moreover, it has been widely reported that there is a gentleman’s agreement in place between Genoa and Inter. As per the terms of this agreement, Inter will buy Pinamonti back from the Rossoblu club at a later date.

This season Pinamonti has made 17 appearances across all competitions. In 1315 minutes on the field, he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
