Monday saw the last of the early kick-off times as all teams have now played two games each at the World Cup.
Here are some of the best photos from matchday nine.
The Cameroon supporters went wild when their team came back from 3-1 down against Serbia to claim a 3-3 draw.
Son Heung-min was distraught at the final whistle as his South Korea side lost 3-2 to Ghana…
…meanwhile, a Ghana official probably picked the wrong moment to try and snap a selfie with him.
Vinícius Junior paid tribute to injured teammate Neymar with an imitation of his celebration when he thought he’d scored for Brazil.
The attempt was ruled out for offside, but Neymar surely appreciated it nonetheless.
Brazil did win the game thanks to an absolute thunderbolt from Casemiro and Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer’s face as the ball sailed past him was priceless.
Cristiano Ronaldo claimed Portugal’s opener against Uruguay, even though video replays seemed to show that the ball hadn’t made contact with his head.
And in that game, a protestor ran on the pitch with what appeared to be a rainbow flag, dropping it on the ground before he was apprehended by security staff.
Tomorrow sees the start of the third matches with Groups A and B all in action.
