Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have this week turned heads online.

As much comes after both, in the form of Polish teammates Robert Lewandowski and Wojciech Szczęsny, unveiled striking new hairdos.

*Update* – Wojciech Szczęsny has since revealed that the photo of him was in fact a fake, made using filters.

More specifically, frontman Lewandowski and goalkeeper Szczęsny have joined Barcelona’s ‘blonde brigade’.

Blaugrana youngster Lamine Yamal kicked the trend into gear back in late-April, upon dying his hair a striking blonde colour ahead of the Copa del Rey final.

Teammate and close friend Gavi then recently followed suit with a similar, albeit shorter look.

And as alluded to above, late this week, two of the more experienced members of Hansi Flick’s squad have followed the lead of their younger teammates with blonde hairstyles of their own:

Elsewhere in the first-team ranks in Catalunya’s capital, Dani Olmo has also been dying his hair blonde for some time now, albeit with as much having begun long before the sudden trend on the part of his teammates.
