Reds youngster Billy Koumetio was spotted training with Liverpool’s first-team yesterday.
As you can see in the photos below, Koumetio was completing a drill with Takumi Minamino.

If you wanted an idea of how tall Koumetio is, the image below does provide an insight. The 18-year-old towers over the Japan international.
Koumetio stands at 1,95 meters. The young centre-back is actually taller than Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman stands at 1,93 meters.
Koumetio certainly has the height to dominate aerially in the heart of Liverpool’s defence. It will be interesting to see if Reds boss Jurgen Klopp gives Koumetio a chance this season.
Liverpool are currently without centre-backs Joe Gomez and Van Dijk. As they are both injured, Koumetio could make his first-team debut at some point this season.
