All associated with Barcelona have this afternoon made clear their frustrations with the officiating in the club’s meeting with Las Palmas.
This, of course, comes fresh off an outing to forget for Hansi Flick’s troops.
The Blaugrana marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming lowly Las Palmas to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, Barca found themselves condemned to a shock 2-1 defeat, making it just one point gained from the club’s last three outings.
As alluded to above, though, the eventual result on Saturday did not come without its dramas along the way.
The most headline-grabbing came late in the action, upon Pau Cubarsí going to ground in the visitors’ penalty area.
After the incident was waved off by the referee and his team of officials, ensuing replays showcased the fact that defender Cubarsí was clearly caught on his ankle:
VAR, however, also decided that as much was not worthy of intervention, leaving Barcelona supporters the world over nothing short of livid…
