A brilliant photo stemming from the aftermath of Spain’s victory over England on Sunday has come to the fore online.
La Roja, of course, are fresh off clinching glory on the continent late last night.
After locking horns with the aforementioned England in the finale of the European Championships in Berlin, Luis de la Fuente’s troops battled their way to an eventual 2-1 triumph.
As much came courtesy of goals on the part of Nico Williams, and Mikel Oyarzabal.
The nation’s first major title in 12 years, the celebrations, post-match, were therefore as passion-filled as they were lengthy.
And, in the thick of as much, one moment to have since gone viral centered on players from Spanish football’s two biggest clubs.
Putting club rivalry aside for a moment, Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal, and Pedri of Barcelona, were spotted emerging from an emotional embrace in tears, with the photo in question showcased below:
