Real Madrid starlet Endrick this weekend turned heads, by way of a surprise gift for club president Florentino Pérez.
Frontman Endrick is of course fresh off sealing his long-awaited move to Spain’s capital, over 18 months on from initially being signed from Palmeiras.
Excitement is already abuzz across the Real Madrid fanbase, with the 18-year-old widely considered to be one of world football’s finest young talents.
Central to Endrick’s signing, as so often proves the case at the Santiago Bernabéu, was president Florentino Pérez.
The Spanish patron continues to prove himself an invaluable asset for the European champions, with his ability to convince transfer targets of the merits of making the move to Real a central factor in the club’s ongoing success.
For Endrick, Pérez’s endeavours allowed him to make a long-standing dream a reality.
And, as alluded to above, this weekend, the Brazilian international has moved to pay his new club’s president back.
This comes by way of a personal gift, of a portrait of Pérez.
The remarkable piece of art was put together by Argentine creator Paloma Teppa, since hanging on display in the ‘Plant The Future’ gallery in Miami for a full seven years.
Upon coming across the portrait, which is made fully of moss, during a recent vacation in Orlando, however, Endrick decided that Pérez should possess it himself.
As per Marca:
‘He decided, as they say, to have the painting wrapped up for him, and to take it as a present to the head of Real Madrid.’
