Today’s photo of the day, incredibly, dates back over a decade to the so called Shame Game on 2 March 2011. It’s remarkable that the was such a long time ago, and yet the fallout remains fresh in the memory.

Celtic dominated an ill-disciplined Rangers team, despite the narrow 1-0 margin of victory. It was a Scottish Cup night when Paradise was a cauldron of noise, fuelled by the events on the field as the likes of Diouf behaved embarrassingly.

Mark Wilson was the unlikely scorer, scuffing home a rebound after his initial shot had knocked Papac out on the goal line. Having not scored in an age, Wilson had found the net the week before, leading Ian Crocker to remark: “He’s suddenly scoring loads of goals, Mark Wilson at the second time of asking!”
