With that being the case, Gomez has not been seen out on the pitch since.

However, the Englishman is on the mend. As you can see below, an image has emerged of Gomez going through his paces.

What is noticeable in the image below is the huge scar on Gomez’s knee. The scar highlights that the injury Gomez sustained was quite serious.

Some Liverpool supporters recently took to Twitter to state that they could not believe just how big the scar is on Gomez’s knee.

Liverpool have missed Gomez this season. In the Premier League last season, Gomez averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.78.

The aforementioned figure highlights that he is a solid player. Despite the fact that Gomez is only 23 years of age, he has already made 121 appearances for Liverpool’s first-team.

Therefore, Gomez could quite easily make 300-plus appearances for Liverpool’s first-team.
