In the absence of Neymar and Angel Di Maria, it was clear that Paris Saint-Germain was going to need a player to step up and lead the team against Barcelona in its away UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash.

Kylian Mbappe turned out to be that player for PSG.

The French star scored a hat-trick against Barca in a performance of the season. He also went on to 10 dribble attempts in the match and created four goal-scoring chances for teammates.

The performance for Mbappe earned him Champions League Man of the Match honors.

PSG will surely be hoping for a repeat showing from the star forward in the return leg.
