Liverpool youngster Jack Bearne has confirmed that his season has come to an end due to injury.

Bearne, 19, took to Instagram to state that he has had surgery on his ankle to repair ligament damage.

Bearne added that he injured himself during training. Bearne made 11 appearances for Liverpool’s under-23 side this season.

The right winger scored three goals and registered one assist. We wish the youngster a speedy recovery.

The academy players are the future of the club, so we never want to see them sitting on the sideline.
