Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi helped the Nerazzurri to finish second in their Champions League group with a draw against Real Sociedad.
It will have been a night of mixed emotions for the Nerazzurri.

On the one hand, Inter failed to secure top spot in their group. They ended level on points with La Real, but with an inferior goal difference.
But on the other, Inter know that they’ve secured their place in the knockouts for a third season running. And they did so without losing a match in the group stage.
Francesco Acerbi reacted to the draw with Real Sociedad on Instagram.
He wrote, “Pointless to deny that we wanted to finish top of the group. But still, we reach the next round undefeated.”
