Inter Milan and Lautaro Martinez enjoyed a great evening against Benfica in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri only won the match by a scoreline of 1-0. A solitary second half goal from Marcus Thuram was enough to seal the three points.

But that scoreline only scratches the surface of the Nerazzurri’s performance.
Particularly after halftime, Inter looked somewhere close to their best. They bounced back from a disappointing opening day draw against Real Sociedad.
Inter captain Lautaro Martinez took to Instagram to celebrate the win over Benfica.
He wrote, “Great win by the team. What a night, thanks to the fans.”
