Photo – Inter Legend Bergomi: “Honour To Be Selected In France Football’s List Of Greatest Players Of All Time”

Legendary former Inter defender and captain Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to share his delight at being named among France Football’s candidates for best right back of all time as part of their best team of all time.

Bergomi is on the shortlist alongside the likes of former Bayern Munich player Philip Lahm, former AC Milan player Cafu and former Juventus player Claudio Gentile.

Bergomi, who spent the entirety of his playing career with Inter, posted: “It is an honour to have been selected by France Football in the list of the greatest players of all time, in their respective positions.

“Judging by the quality of the players in contention, it will certainly not be an easy task for the 170 journalists, but in the end I’m sure it will still be a dream team.”
