Inter managed fourteen shots against Sheriff Tiraspol in yesterday evening’s Champions League clash with the Moldovan side, laying on the scoring chances with an attacking performance that showed that they knew they needed a win from the match.
As football statistics account Opta highlighted in a tweet, this is the second time that Simone Inzaghi’s men have managed that in a first half in this season’s Champions League group stage, the first time this has been accomplished this season.
