Inter central defender Stefan de Vrij has taken to social media platform Twitter to share his thoughts and feelings following Inter’s Champions League group stage match against Shakhtar Donetsk, which took place earlier on this week.

The Dutch national team player played the entirety of the match at the Kyiv Olympic Stadium on Tuesday evening as Inter and Shakhtar Donetsk surprisingly played out a goalless draw with one another.

The former Lazio player, who has been with Inter since 2018, posted: “We’re upset not to have won, but we won’t give up! Now, we’ll concentrate on the next one.”
