Inter’s season ended in disappointment as they lost out on the Serie A title to AC Milan on the final day, but there was still much for them to be proud of and a sense that more is to come starting next season.
Defender Danilo D’Ambrosio looked back on the season in a post on his Instagram account, where he gave his message to fans and promised to return even better next season.

He wrote, “The tears shed and yesterday’s disappointment are a sign that this group doesn’t want to give up!”
“The two finals we won gave us unforgettable feelings which we’ll carry with us forever.”
“We’ll take in the lessons that this season has taught us, to always fight on the pitch and to reach our dreams.”
