There is yet more injury concern surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he was forced off within 30 minutes of AC Milan’s home game against Juventus tonight.
There was some confusion when Giroud took his jacket off and lined up to come on as Ibrahimovic was in possession, but the ball was then kicked out and it became clear that the Swedish striker had suffered a problem with his foot. Ibra missed the last game of 2021 due to an overload in his left knee, and DAZN reported on their live broadcast that he was icing his Achilles tendon area.
