Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana made his competitive debut for the Nerazzurri in yesterday evening’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, and it was an eventful one as the German champions kept him busy.

Bayern managed to score twice to earn a 2-0 win, but the scoreline could have been even higher had it not been for Onana, who did well in his first ever Nerazzurri start to frustrate the Bavarians on numerous occasions.

Onana made ten stops in total, which football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet is more than any Nerazzurri keeper has made in the Champions League since 2003.

They tweeted, “10 – André Onana made 10 saves in #InterBayern, more than any other goalkeeper for Inter in a UEFA Champions League match since Opta started collecting this kind of data (since 2003/04). Catlike.”
