Philippe Coutinho has ruled out returning to the Premier League this summer, insisting he is happy to stay at Barcelona.
Coutinho has struggled to establish himself at the Nou Camp since joining from Liverpool in January 2018.
However, despite reports linking him to Manchester United, the 26-year-old wants to stay and win more silverware with the LaLiga giants.
“My head is exclusively in Barcelona,” he told the Sunday Mirror. “Returning to England now does not fit into my plans.
“This is my second season here. I have won titles but I am always an ambitious and demanding player. So, I want more and more.
“But I’m happy. I wanted to play in Spain and I’m at the best club in Spain.”
Barça coach Ernesto Valverde admitted in March that he spoke with Coutinho to try and help him rediscover his best form.
“We spoke to look over what he was doing well and where we could help him improve.
“I speak with the players to help them and see where we can improve, nothing more. The conversation will remain private.”
The Catalan club are now 11 points clear of Atlético Madrid after their 2-0 win on Saturday.
