Monday 21st October 2024Rangers manager Philippe Clement is 5/4 with William Hill to leave the Ibrox club before Christmas following his side’s defeat to Kilmarnock on Sunday.

The Belgian appears to have the backing of the board though and is 4/7 to still be at the club come December 25th.

Rangers now trail Celtic and Aberdeen by six points and have drifted in the market to win the William Hill Scottish Premiership title, out from 11/2 to 8/1.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said:

“Another lacklustre display from Rangers at the weekend saw them fall to defeat against Kilmarnock and that has only ramped up the pressure on manager Philippe Clement.

“We make the Belgian a 5/4 shot to face the sack before Christmas, but with Rangers currently lacking a permanent Chairman the Ibrox board may prioritise stability, and Clement is odds-on at 4/7 to still be in position come December 25th.

“With Celtic and Aberdeen still unbeaten in the league this season, Rangers’ second defeat of the campaign has seen their odds for the title drift significantly out to 8/1, with Celtic now 1/12 favourites.”
