Philipp Ochs joins Hannover 96 on a free transfer

22-year-old Hoffenheim defender Philipp Ochs has joined 2. Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96 on a free transfer, the club have announced.

The former Germany youth international has signed a contract until June 2022.

“In a situation that was challenging for him recently, Philipp always behaved excellently. Also because of the strong competitive situation, the chances of spending time in the second half of the season would not have increased,” said Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen.
