On Thursday, legendary Bayern Munich and German international star Philipp Lahm was named an honorary citizen of Munich – the first sportsman to ever receive the honor.
There aren’t enough superlatives to describe his outstanding career, where he won an incredible 21 trophies with Bayern including eight Bundesliga titles, six DFB-Pokals, and of course, the 2013 Champions League crown.
His international career wasn’t too shabby either, earning 113 caps with Germany and winning the 2014 World Cup.
We could keep going about how all his individual accolades as well, but instead, we’ll leave you with this amazing video.
How he never picked up a single red card in his career is still mind-blowing.
