On Thursday, legendary Bayern Munich and German international starĀ Philipp Lahm was named an honorary citizen of Munich ā the first sportsman to ever receive the honor.
There arenāt enough superlatives to describe his outstanding career, where he won an incredible 21 trophies with Bayern including eight Bundesliga titles, six DFB-Pokals, and of course, the 2013Ā Champions League crown.

His international career wasnāt too shabby either, earning 113 caps with Germany and winning the 2014Ā World Cup.
