Phil Neville to leave England Women's role next summer
The Football Association have confirmed that Phil Neville will leave his role as England Women’s manager next summer.
Neville was appointed in January 2018 and leading the Lionesses to a fourth-place finish at the 2019 World Cup.
But since beating Norway last year, they have lost seven of 11 games and failed to retain their SheBelieves Cup title in March.
“I am looking forward to getting back to work with the team as soon as possible,” said Neville.
“We have a fantastic squad of players and there is plenty to work on as we look to progress as a team going into 2021.”
