PFA Players' award shortlists revealed

The Professional Footballers' Association have revealed the short lists for the Championship, League One, and League Two awards.

The Players’ Player of the Year awards will be given out at an event in August with six players nominated for each division.

Leeds United and Burnley, the two promoted Championship teams who both bagged 100 points, have two representatives each. Ao Tanaka and Daniel James feature from Leeds while James Trafford and Josh Brownhill are the two Clarets to feature.

Norwich City's Borja Sainz and Sheffield United's Gustavo Hamer round out the list.

There are two Birmingham City stars in the League One with Jay Stansfield and Tomoki Iwata featured.

Meanwhile Charlie Kelman of Leyton Orient, Davis Keillor-Dunn of Barnsley, Kwame Poku of Peterborough United, and Wycombe Wanderer's Richard Kone complete the six.

Finally in League Two, Alassana Jatta and David McGoldrick represent Notts County. With the other four players including Jack Payne of Colchester, Luke Molyneux of Doncaster, Michael Cheek or Bromley, and Nathan Lowe of Walsall, on loan from Stoke City.
