The PFA have revealed the six contenders for this year’s Women’s Super League Players’ Player of the Year.

On Monday, the nominees for Young Player of the Year were announced, with the shortlist now confirmed for the senior award, which is chosen by fellow players.

It sees Chelsea’s Lauren James nominated in both categories as she chases a potentially historic double.

Regardless of who wins the award, 2024 will crown a first time winner, with none of the nominees (made up of three Chelsea and three Manchester City players) having done so before.
