The Juventus Museum had two more reasons to visit added to it this Thursday, 7 November, with a couple of significant and sentimental shirts being added.

The shirts of Juventus Women's First Team players Pauline Peyraud-Magnin and Sofia Cantore now hold pride of place in the Bianconere's history, with each having recently hit 100 appearances for the club.

Pauline racked up a century of Juventus appearances in the Women's Champions League group stage game against Bayern Munich on 16 October, and in doing so she became the first goalkeeper in the Bianconere's history to play 100 times. Her first for the club came back in the summer of 2001.

Sofia's 100th followed shortly after, and she became the 14th Bianconera to hit the milestone away against Inter on 20 October, giving her another reason to smile during what has been an incredible start to the season for her on a personal level.

QUOTES FROM THE MUSEUM

GIANLUCA FERRERO

"Two more brilliant athletes become part of Juventus' history. Pauline, an important player with an international profile, becomes the first goalkeeper to reach 100 appearances with the Bianconere. And Sofia, a young player who we have seen grow from the Youth Sector and who is a role model for all young girls who join Juventus with dreams of following her same path. It's always a source of pride to have days like this, which are so important to the history of our club."

SOFIA CANTORE

"I'm happy and proud to reach this milestone. I'm happy to have done it this season as well because it's started very well on a personal and collective level, and it's really special to think that my shirt is in the Juventus Museum. One-hundred games is a lot, and it's the crowning achievement of a journey that started seven years ago and has seen me grow, also out on loan. Coming back here and achieving this has huge value to me. I hope it's an example for all the young girls who come to visit that they can see our shirts on display."

PAULINE PEYRAUD-MAGNIN

"It's a huge honour for me to be part of this family. It's unbelievable to be a piece of this club's history, and I'm really happy to have done it. To be here, in the Juventus Museum, is incredible. I've experienced a lot of good things over the years and each of them has been important for my journey with the club, but I can say that this moment is one of the very greatest of my career. The season has started well and we hope it will get even better, and we're working for that to happen. It's great to be back in the Women's Champions League too, and it's something we needed because we want to play at the very highest level."

PAOLO GARIMBERTI

"It's always a pleasure for the Juventus Museum to have the Women's First Team players hand over their shirts. We're delighted with these milestones, and now there are a number of Bianconere to have surpassed 100 appearances and some have even surpassed 200. Women's football is hugely important for Juventus, and that's seen from all the trophies they have here in the Museum."

STEFANO BRAGHIN

"It's always a pleasure to see the girls take centre stage for what is, first and foremost, a tribute of their loyalty to the club. Sofia arrived as an 18-year-old with hope, and she forged her path with us and out on loan too, and now she is a pillar of the first team and the Italian National Team. She is an example for all of the younger girls. Pauline joined a few years ago at a particular point in her career, and she has been able to enjoy a restart and rebirth here, managing to become the first goalkeeper in our history to make 100 appearances, and she is one of the best in the world in her position. If we gave her the chance to relaunch her career, she has given us the chance to see a true champion at work. There achievements are all thanks to the girls, to the club and to the team."
