Ajax have confirmed that defender Perr Schuurs has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract.
The 21-year-old, who has been at the club since 2018, has signed a deal until the summer of 2025.

The centre-back’s contract was due to expire in summer 2022, causing clubs like Liverpool to start to circle in hopes of being able to sign Schurrs at a cut-rate price.
Schurrs, who has often been compared to former Ajax and current Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt, has featured 43 times for Ajax since his arrival from Fortuna Sittard, where he was named captain at 17.
