Luke Berry’s second half brace ensured that Luton Town left Ewood Park with a point on Saturday.

Luton found themselves two goals down thanks to strikes from Tyrhys Dolan and Harry Pickering, before Berry halved the deficit with 20 minutes left to play.

The second half substitute then doubled his tally in the eighth minute of stoppage time, claiming a point for Nathan Jones’ side.

The Hatters hit the road again tomorrow and will face a Bristol City side who are without a home win since January.

Nigel Pearson’s side sit one place above The Hatters on goal difference, with both possessing the same record thus far.

It remains to be seen what options Jones will have available for tomorrow night. Nearing a fully fit squad 24 hours before kick off at Blackburn, Luton hit somewhat of an injury crisis at the weekend.

Late knocks to Fred Oyedinma and Amari’i Bell drove the pair out of contention, whilst Elijah Adebayo was unwell to face Rovers on the day.

After completing the warm up, Admiral Muskwe pulled up just a few minutes before kick off, whilst Allan Campbell suffered a nasty injury to his ankle ligaments with just 10 minutes on the clock.

It is difficult to determine who Jones actually has available to him, and he might be rather thin when it comes to his options in certain positions.

Simon Sluga is almost certain to continue in goal, whilst James Bree and Reece Burke are also likely to be handed a start.

Club captain Sonny Bradley came on as a substitute at the weekend after a long time sidelined, performing very well, and if he comes in, then Naismith could be shifted out to left-back.

The former Wigan Athletic defender is likely to start at full-back, but if Amari’i Bell is fit, then Jones will have a big decision to make.

Moving Gabriel Osho to a holding midfield role has been an excellent decision by Jones and his team and with Henri Lansbury proving to be a classy operator whenever he has been handed first-team minutes.

Harry Cornick has already doubled last season’s goal tally in just six games, with his direct running and ability to carve out chances, making him a likely candidate to start on the right-wing.

Berry, whose two goals on Saturday sees him jump to joint top scorer, has only played 30 minutes of this season, but he displayed on Saturday that he is ready for inclusion.

Perhaps a surprising inclusion in this eleven is Dion Pereira, After shining with the club’s youth set up last season, and enjoying a productive pre-season with the first-team, the young winger could be given an opportunity from the very start.

Veteran striker Cameron Jerome could lead the line again for The Hatters. With Adebayo missing Saturday, the 35-year-old might be tasked with going again.
