At 41 years old, Pepe shows no signs of slowing down yet.

After some superb performances in the group stages, the Portugal defender has broken another record before a ball has even been kicked tonight.

It was all the way back in 2007 when the Porto defender made his international debut.

Now, he's broken the record for the oldest player to appear at a knockout stage at a major tournament, and the previous holder was a goalkeeper.

Another good performance against Slovenia could see him in the quarter-final of the competition.
