The Spaniard described Scott as “an unbelievable player” following Tuesday night’s fixture.

Bristol City value the 19-year-old between “at least £20-25m” according to Fabrizio Romano following an impressive season for the Robins.

Scott has made 81 appearances for Bristol City and the Guernsey-born midfielder has been capped 12 times for the England Under-19s.

Bristol City’s run of 12 games unbeaten came to an end versus the current Premier League Champions but Nigel Pearson’s side will be fully focused on their play-off charge.

Bristol City sit 13th in the Championship, 10 points adrift from Luton Town in sixth with a game in hand.

Pearson said, via Bristol Live: “There is potential for us to push for a play-off position but you can’t blow hot and cold.”
