Pedro Aquino may have returned to América as precautionary measure

Furthermore, Aquino was already coming back from an injury he suffered against Pumas last season, which makes having him return early from Peru duty even more frustrating.

However, there is some good news as there may not even be a new injury to worry about. Christian Moya of La Octava Sports claims that Aquino has returned as a precautionary measure in order to prevent any major damage.

In addition, Aquino could be ready to suit up next week when América host San Luis.
