OM playmaker Dimitri Payet was a happy man after scoring in the 1-1 draw with Nice on Wednesday, admitting that his side had expended a lot of energy in the 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night. OM now sit fourth on the Ligue 1 Uber Eats table.

OM found themselves on the back foot early after Amine Gouiri opened the scoring (6') at the Stade de l'Aube, but Dimitri Payet found a reply just before half-time, popping up on the edge of the box to latch onto Gerson's cut-back - astutely left by striker Arkadiusz Milik - round his man and fire home for a share of the points.

'Used up a lot of juice' "We had a difficult start, but we reacted well and had a good second half. The result is quite logical," explained the Reunion-born playmaker after the match. "We were afraid because we used up a lot of juice on Sunday against PSG. We knew we were going to have a tough time at some point in the game, and it came at the beginning. We could have done better, but we're still where we should be on the table." Although OM have managed just one win in their last eight Ligue 1 Uber Eats outings, the point won in Troyes on Wednesday leaves them fourth on the table, just a point shy of their opponents the night. Jorge Sampaoli's side will be out to add digits to the wins column in their next match, which comes in the form a trip to promoted Clermont in the Sunday evening fixture at 20:45 CET (18:45 GMT). >> MATCH REPORT: Nice and OM share spoils
