Flamengo have confirmed the hiring of Paulo Sousa as their new coach.
They had been on the lookout for a new boss over the last month and rumours had linked Jorge Jesus with a surprise return.

But Sousa has been released from his position as coach of the Poland national team and made the move to South America.
He has penned a two-year contract at the Marcanã.
