Lille boss Paulo Fonseca is set to become the next Milan boss and the move is now set to go through.
The Rossoneri have been in the hunt for a new manager for weeks now and it seems as if they have closed in on a name that they feel keen on, with talks already ongoing between the two parties.
Daniele Longo has reported that it is now decided that Fonseca will be Milan’s next manager and the move is set to go through. There are no longer any doubts about whether the move will go through or not and now, only the last step of the move is missing.
Fonseca was offered a lower wage by Milan than Marseille but he still preferred a move to the Rossoneri, whose charm proved too much to turn down for the Portuguese. The final signatures of the move will be signed soon and after that, the move will be made official.
Fonseca is expected to earn €3 million per season in his three-year deal and he believes that the project on offer from the club fits his demands.
