Inter’s move to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer from Juventus remains on standby as the club have not made contact with his representatives for the past ten days.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air moments ago that the Nerazzurri would only sign him if one of Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa leave the club, which looks unlikely.

Inter had looked to be in advanced talks for Dybala, but the pursuit of Romelu Lukaku then took priority, with the Nerazzurri now ready to complete a loan move for the Belgian.

Accordingly, even the expected departure of Alexis Sanchez is not likely to make enough room in Inter’s attacking options to move for Dybala as things stand.

Offloading one of Dzeko or Correa could make a move for the Argentine feasible, but as things stand neither are on the market.
